Where can you exchange old Halloween costumes?  Check out our list of What’s Fresh Around Town!

1. Born for Broadway is tonight.  It’s a Musical Revue to Benefit the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford and Jenna Ushkwitz from Glee.  That’s at New World Stages on Broadway at 8 p.m!

2. The Costume Exchange is going on at the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum!  Parents can drop off their child’s costume from last year and receive a ticket which allows them to receive a different costume at the costume exchange on October 17th.

3. Join the yaks, swans, camels and other creatures at the Church of the Ascension in Brooklyn, and Dog Habitat Rescue will host a blessing of animals and remembrance. A parade begins at 3:30 p.m., preceding the 4 p.m. church ceremony. Dogs must be on leash. Cats, rodents and other animals must be in carriers.
