Fresh Malicious Gossip from the Jim & Kim morning show…

Katy Perry will release her new album on August 30th. It’s called “Teenage Dream,” and the first single, “California Gurls,” is set to be out on June 20th, featuring Snoop Dog. Katy says the song is a response to “Empire State Of Mind” by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.

(I smell a turf war…my money is on Alicia Keys…she’s from Hell’s Kitchen.)

CHARLIZE THERON is a generous girl. The Post says she popped into a performance to benefit an AIDS charity the other night and left a hefty donation in the collection plate.

(She’s hoping the donation is safe…Lindsey Lohan was holding the plate.)

And finally, MICK JAGGER will scheduled to appear on CNN’s “Larry King Live” tomorrow. He’ll talk about the reissue of the Rolling Stones classic 1972 album “Exile On Main Street,” and the new documentary that goes along with it. Both will be released tomorrow.

(Larry’s first question will be, “So…how’s Ringo?”)
