This looks all too familiar, doesn’t it? One company has actually been trying to make air travel more pleasant. Shocking, isn’t it? Click through for more.

ouch Air travel doesnt have to be awful

Flying has never been worse.

Overbooked flights, rude employees, cramped seats, a charge to check a bag, a charge for any kind of food…..seriously.

The subway during rush hour is more comfortable.

I flew Virgin America last year and couldn’t believe how much better the experience was compared to every other airline these days.

Tonight, a show called “Fly Girls” premieres on the CW.

I think it’s either going to be fascinating….or awful. I’ll be watching. We shall see.

Last time I flew I was threatened by the gate agent that “everyone here will go nowhere” if I didn’t accept a reassignment to the “exit row”? Why? Because the genius airline had booked a mother with a 5 and 6 year old into that row.

From now on I’m going to request the damn exit row every time I fly. Even though its usually noisy as hell, there is extra leg room.

“Fly Girls” is really dumb. I love it. Mandy is my favorite. It did terribly in the ratings:

The CW’s new flight attendant reality show “Fly Girls” failed to achieve liftoff Wednesday night, marking the second of two recent unscripted efforts by the network to under-perform in the ratings.

“Fly Girls” was seen by 1.2 million viewers and pulled a 0.5 preliminary number among adults 18-49, dropping a steep 62% from its “America’s Next Top Model” lead-in (3 million, 1.3). “Girls” was paired with fellow freshman “High Society” (914,000, 0.4), which continued to struggle.
