Ray made his radio debut at the age of 6, reciting an Easter poem on his parents’ show in Rochester, New York. So this second-generation broadcaster has technically been on the air since radio was black-and-white. And it might last, since his dad is still doing a show at the age of 80.
Before settling in New York City in 2001, Ray lived in North Carolina, Delaware, Maryland, and even Long Island, on the radio all the way and always with an eye toward The Big Apple. Now that he’s here, he enjoys exploring the City as much as he does hiking in the Hudson Valley.
Ray has watched every episode of American Idol, but has never ever voted even once!
